Getting to Coolum

Coolum's closest airport is the Sunshine Coast Airport at Marcoola near Maroochydore. Most Australian capital cities have flights to the Sunshine Coast Airport which is approximately a 15 minute drive north on the Sunshine Motorway to Coolum. For international travellers, Brisbane is the closest airport. It is approximately a 80 minute drive north on the Bruce Highway to Coolum.

 

Both airports have door to door bus transfer services to your accommodation in Coolum. Taxis, limousine services and car hire are also readily available from the airports.

 

There are three major airline companies that fly to Noosa. These are Virgin Blue, Jetstar and Tiger Airways.

If you're arriving from the north, Coolum is approximately 1 1/4 hour south of Gympie also on the Bruce Highway.
